On the morning of January 29th, 2020, the 8th Chinese Medical Team held a joint press conference with Guido Valadares National Hospital, and briefed Timor Post and GMN TV regarding the pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). The Captain Dr. Li Musheng, Associate professor of ICU Dr. Huandan, and the Vice President of Guido Valadares National Hospital Dr. Flavio attended the conference. The Team said that the Chinese government has confidence and ability to win the battle on prevention and control of the epidemic, and there's no such case occurring in Timor-Leste. The Team answered questions from journalists on the situation of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus, how to scientifically deal with the epidemic and strengthen self-protection, and issued an initiative to Timorese and overseas Chinese in preventing the epidemic.
